Let Go and let God!

Sometimes, the hardest thing you can do is letting go. Some people want to hold onto things that mean them no good. When your eyes are closed, you can’t see that some things are harmful to you. You might want to let go but just don’t know how to let go. If you are trying to let go on your own, you will never get there. You need some assistance. Any old assistance won’t work. You need help from Jesus. Jesus can help you remove anything that is weighing you down. Jesus can remove that deep down hurt and frustration. Jesus can take the liquor taste out of your mouth. Jesus can remove that desire for sin out of your mind and thoughts. Jesus can heal your broken heart. Jesus can fix any issues and problems that you have been struggling with for years. All you have to do is let go and let God. It might not feel good at first, but I can assure you of this one thing. Eventually all shall get better with time and with Jesus!

 

PRAYER

Jesus I love you

Jesus I repent

Jesus today I let go

I am letting you help me

I am giving it to you Lord

Lord remove any desires that are not of you

Remake me O Lord

Lord remove any old hurt or pain

Lord give me the strength to let go

Lord give me the strength to move forward in your word

Jesus refill this empty hole in my heart

From any sin or from anything that anyone did bad to hurt me

Replace it with your love

Jesus I let go

I am letting you fight for me now on

There is Hope!

There is hope. Even when it may seem like all hope is gone, you have to remember. God gives hope to the hopeless. God restore and renew his people daily. You should speak life into your situation right now. Someone might have just asked the question how I can speak life into my dead situation. You can by declaring those positive words which are found in the word of God over your situation or life. You might be in the middle of an ocean without a life jacket right now. It might be true, but if you stop trying then you have already lost. You will drown the moment that you stop trying.  Speaking life into your situation or life is the equivalent of you swimming. You must have a mindset that you can reach land even though it may not be too realistic in the natural. You must know that your situation or life shall get better even though you can’t see it getting better in the natural. Our God doesn’t operate in the natural in the way that we do. He is supernatural. God will never leave you stranded in the ocean without a life jacket or a way for you to make it safely back to land. There is hope for the ones who believe. There is hope for the ones who call upon the name above all names. Jesus is hope. Jesus is our hope in our most despairing moments as well as in our happiest moments in life.

PRAYER

Lord my hope is fading away fast

Lord give me hope

Lord replace my hopelessness with hope

Lord don’t let my hope fade away

Lord I pray that I never will lose hope

Hope in you

Hope in your power

Hope in your word

Hope in the promises that you spoke over my life

Jesus I need you

Because of you Lord

I know things are changing in my life for my good as I pray right now

I know things are changing in my favor as I pray right now

Lord I thank you in advance for increasing my hope right now as I pray

They don't know

Why is it so hard for some people to believe in God’s promises? Below is a list of reasons why some people don’t believe. Those things might sound foolish to the ones who believe in God and his promises. But, you will be surprise that some people don’t know God like you do. Some people rather believe a lie instead of believing in God’s promises. We as believer should know that God is infinite. We as believer should know that God has infinite resources. Yet nonbelievers sincerely don’t know that.

1.       They don’t know God.

2.       They don’t know God’s attribute.

3.       They walk by sight and not by faith.

4.       They don’t believe that God still operate in human affairs.

5.       They believe God can’t help them.

6.       They believe but their doubts always takeover.

 

PRAYER

Lord, if my faith suffers from anyone of those reasons above

Fix me Lord

Lord, if I don’t believe in you from anyone of those reasons above

Help me Lord

Lord help my unbelief

So I will believe in you

So I will believe in your promises

Lord take away any doubt out of my mind and heart

So I can walk by faith

In Search of God's Righteousness

  Ron believed in God. He served him with reverence and zeal. He based his belief on what he thought was right. Ron mixed a little of every religion together. He thought he would only use what is good in each religion. It seemed well with his soul. There are so many good people who have a zeal for God. They think that they are bringing happiness to God like Paul when he was called Saul. You must ask God this question. Is my service and worship to you a delight or is it a figment of my imagination?

Romans 10 1-3(KJV)

10 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.

² For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.

³ For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

 

PRAYER

God let me have a zeal for you God according to your righteousness

God don’t let be puffed up with my own righteousness

God let my knowledge be base off of your knowledge

So I want be ignorant of your righteousness God

God let me always submit myself to your righteousness God

I want to worship you with a pure heart

God purify my worship of you

God purify my day to day living so I can live for you

God purify my heart

God purify my thoughts

You Are Not Alone

  Sometimes, it might feel as if you are the only one with your best interest at heart. If you are feeling like this right now, there is hope. God had your best interest at heart since he first thought to create you. God has been rerouting his Holy Angels to get your attention. You are not alone. You never were alone. You have purpose. You are loved. You are special. You are unique. You are great. You just have to realize how great you are in God. God has never left you. In fact, God has been waiting on you to acknowledge him by repenting and accepting his free salvation. God is waiting with open arms to comfort you. Yes you, God really, really have your best interest at heart.

PRAYER

Lord, help me to see the truth

Lord, help me to realize the truth

Lord, help me to get out of my feelings

So I can realize how you got my best interest at heart

Peace Be Still

It is awesome to know that we serve a God who can rebuke the wind.  Jesus said, “Peace! Be still!” and then the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. Surely, Jesus can calm the winds that blow in your life today. I am talking about those troubles that seem to keep on forcing their way into your life like a perfect storm. Jesus can speak those same words into your life “Peace! Be still!” and those winds must cease immediately. You too can enjoy a great calm in your own life! Are you experiencing any straight line winds right now? I am not talking about those winds that are meant for us to grow. There are some winds that blow the leaves and help some trees carry their seeds. There are other winds that disturb your sanity.  You could have been rooted in the thoughts of having a perfect life until an unforeseen storm comes your way.  That storm may only rage for what may seem like 10 minutes, but it could cause major damage to your thoughts of having a perfect life.  It is amazing on how something so strong like a fully grown tree can be uprooted by the wind. A straight line wind could uproot trees that were planted in the ground for years. So if you are a mature Christian, then you might feel the effect of such winds from time to time. You must always remember that Jesus can speak to any storm in your life and it must obey his voice.

 

Mark 4:39

And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

 

Prayer:

Lord, I ask you to calm the winds in my life

Lord, let all of my unnecessary issues cease

Lord I pray that Peace be Still

So I can enjoy your peace that surpasses all understanding

I know my storms and straight line winds must obey your voice

I ask those things in your name Jesus

Extend Your Hands

  You will make it. You will get through it. You will reach your destiny. Smile and praise God. You are walking under the favor of the Lord. Sometimes, it might not seem like it at times. We must know it within our heart. We must fully trust in God because God is always looking out for us. Every good thing works together for those who love the Lord. Despite of how you are feeling right now. Despite of what you are going through right now. If it is negativity or an attack from the enemy etc.., then you must reach up to Jesus. Trust God! Let Jesus pull you up and out of your situation. Despite life woes at times, you are highly favored. Jesus can and will meet you at your need.

 

Philippians 1:6 (NIV)

⁶ being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

PRAYER

Lord if I am having trouble seeing that I am highly favored by you. Lord, help me see that. Lord as I go through this process, please fill me up with your joy. I ask to be made stronger and better in you Jesus Christ. I extend my hands to you because Jesus, I need you all the time.

The Storm is Over

The storm is over. You have made it through the eye of the storm. What you are experiencing now is the residue of it. Praise God! Can you see the rainbow? God’s promises are for real and they are yours. Praise God! It doesn’t look like it, but the sun will shine soon. The only thing you will be enjoying is the showers of blessings from the Lord. Could you believe it that your blessings are right here?  I know that it seems like it has been forever. Reaffirm it! God shall bring to pass those things that he has promised me. I thank you Jesus that my storm is over. I praise you Lord for the beginning of blessings showering down upon me. Hallelujah!! Hallelujah!!

 

Isaiah 41:10

 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

You have been my refuge, a tower of strength against the enemy. I would like to be a guest in your tent forever and to take refuge under the protection of your wings. Selah O God, you have heard my vows. You have given me the inheritance that belongs to those who fear your name.

Fight The Good Fight of Faith

   Will you give up or will you continue to fight? It’s not over, so don’t throw in the towel. It may seem like you are defeated, but you are not. There is plenty of fight left in you. You have to continue the fight of faith. Jesus will help you land the punch that will knock out your opponent. He will defeat the enemy on your behalf.  All you have to do is keep on standing. You might get knocked down a couple of times. Stand up in Jesus‘s name. Hold up your guards with the word of God when the enemies throw their rapid jabs. You can take it and you can stand.  Jesus is with you, so call on him right now. He will deliver you!

¹² Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses

There are a lot of distractions. For the man or woman of God, don’t be fooled and lose focus. It is so easy to get sidetracked with the things of the world. We can sometimes drip into our own world. We have so much information at our fingertips or at a click of a button, so we could easily get bombarded with nonsense. Sometimes it is a good thing and sometimes we lose a grip on true reality. Some people spend more time trying to find out the plans of the enemy or what the enemy is going to do next instead of praising God. Everything has its proper place, but I shall give God the Glory and I shall focus on praising God.
