It is so many people who don’t believe in love because the
ones who said that they loved them did them wrong. The enemy preys on those hearts
that have been hurt by love. The word love
is used so frequently but it is really misunderstood. Sometimes love is understood
but used as a tool for another to undermine someone. So what is the 1st
thing some people do in general? They start speaking negative words about love
out of their mouth. Like, I am going to be by myself forever. I will never find
someone etc… You get the picture. You lose hope. It might be a career that you
loved doing but an event disappointed you. I am talking about hurt of all
kinds. You could have loved doing music and found out the industry isn’t what
is cracked up to be. Let the truth be told you will truly always be disappointed
with love if you don’t learn how to love the creator first. Where do you think
love comes from? God created us to love him first and then one another. It is
time to stop substituting companionship for love. God wants us to have companionship
but God wants a real personal relationship with you first. Someone my say, “Jesus
doesn’t love me because of their circumstances.” I plead the difference because
he does. Jesus died and rose again for you. Jesus is waiting on you to
surrender to him. Whether you believe it or not, Jesus truly loves you.
Prayer
Lord, I sometimes
doubt your love for me
Lord remove all doubt
from my heart
Lord, show me how
much you love me
I want to experience
your love daily
I want your Holy
Spirit to live within me
I want to experience
true love with you
Lord don’t let me
give up on love
I know that I deserve
true love
