God Always Keeps His Promises

There was a young man name James. James made straight A’s in school on his 1^st report card. His mother promised him if he made straight A’s in school for the rest of the whole year that she would buy him something special. James looked forward to the end of the school year. He studied hard and did extra credit work so that he could maintain straight A’s in every class. He was focused because the thought of a reward was pleasing to his ears. Also James knew that his mother was trustworthy. She always kept her promises. After James last report card, his mother didn’t give him his something special right away. But, James was expecting his special something on the same day he gave his mother his last report card. He thought that was the deal even though he never said it out loud. James began to doubt and question why did he studied and worked so hard. A few days went by and James didn’t receive his gift. James began to think did he hear his mother correctly. James said, “Maybe my mother never said that. I am just tripping.” After a few weeks, James grew less interested in school because his mind got off focus. He was in summer school so that he could work a few hours in his last year of school. James’s mother didn’t forget, but she had a gift for him. She returned it back to the store because she thought that he deserved much more. James grew impatient. Little did he know that his gifts were on the way.  He never expected that his something special turned out to be numerous something special. God might have promise you something special. Don’t get discourage. Don’t lose the faith. You could be moments away from your showers of blessings. While you are expecting a blessing, God made you wait a little longer. God is preparing you for continually showers of blessings. So don’t lose focus, you must stay focused on God the whole time. Just know God always keeps all of his promises!

PRAYER

Lord prepare my mind for the blessings

Lord prepare my heart for the blessings

Lord prepare my thought process for the blessings

Lord prepare my spirit for blessings

As I wait on the blessings

Lord increase my faith

Lord don’t let me lose hope

Lord, help me to continue to stand on your word

Lord, help me to continue to stand on your promises

As your blessings overtake me

As your blessings continually rain down upon me

Lord for the rest of my existence

Lord, let me continue to focus on thee

In Jesus Name I pray

Hebrews 6:11-15

¹¹ And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, ¹² that you do not become ^[a]sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

¹³ For when God made a promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself, ¹⁴ saying, “Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you.” ¹⁵ And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

God You Made Me!!

     Once you realize that you are special to God then no one can make you feel like you are not special. You are more special to God than me. I am more special to God than you. Our creator has put his signature design on us all. Have you ever thought about the uniqueness of our fingerprint? Look at yourself for a minute and smile, God has put in some thought in creating you. You are not me, and I am not you. If may seems impossible for God to be able to number every hair on our heads because there is about 8 billion people on earth today. But, God knows every hair on every human being head that is living upon this earth today. Think about this for a minute because some of us can barely remember anything. You should go up with a shout and praise. Glory to God! Hallelujah! I am fearfully and wonderfully made. So if you have been dealing with low self-esteem issues, release it and let it go. You are free. You are special to God! When you know what you know, no one can really tare you down. You will begin to always see God’s plan for your life. One of the most awesome things is seeing God’s plan unfold before your very eyes.

PRAYER

Lord, I thank you for creating me

If there ever was a time that I felt like

I am not special

Lord, confirm my beauty/handsomeness with my spirit

Lord I know that you made me

I was created by the hands of God

So give me the self-confident that I need

Lord uplift my low self-esteem if I have any

When I look into the mirror

Lord help me to see myself as you made me

Help me to realize my outer and inner beauty

God is working on your behalf

Just because we don’t understand what God is doing, we must not believe that God isn’t working on our behalf. I can remember when I was younger my grandmother use to say, “Turn the lights and the television off because God is working” every time there was a storm. I could remember thinking or asking is God working when it is sunny outside as well? The truth of the matter is God never stop working. God is working when our lives are filled with sunshine. God is working when we are in a storm. The truth of the matter is some people don’t realize that God is working in their lives. Do you realize that God is keeping you with his magnificent grace and mercy? Even if you don’t know it, you are being kept by his grace and mercy because you are alive right now. This is a gift from God within itself. It may not seem like it to some people because of their current struggles or current situation. I came to remind you to praise God anyway. Greater is coming and there is a good reason God has allowed his grace and mercy to shine on you this day. You are truly loved by God. God wants you to inheritance your future which he has for you. Always remember, God is always working on your behalf.  You might need a little help to see how God is operating in your life.

 

PRAYER

Lord, I love you

I can’t see how you are operating in my life

Lord would you show me

In Jesus Name

Amen!

Most children feel the safest in their parents’ arms.  Why? Their parents give them a sense of security. They know that their parent will protect them from danger. They can sense their parents looking out for their needs. They don’t even have to ask their parents to do those things. Their parents do those things because they love them. Their parents do those things because they care for them. Their parents display those affections way before the child is able to realize their own emotions. There is just something about a parent and the life that they help create. They share a special bond. So when the child needs anything, that child will search for his parents. The child will call out mommy or daddy; I need this or help me. A good parent will always make sure that their child is safe as humanly possible. So don’t think it is strange when some people call on Jesus. His name is a strong tower.  Jesus is a strong tower that can’t be knocked down or destroyed.  Jesus is a strong tower that when you find safety in him, then you are truly safe. He will protect you and who can defeat you when you take up residency in his strong tower.  No one can destroy you! In your times of trouble, you should call upon his powerful name. Even when life is going well, you should call upon his name. 

Proverbs 18:15

The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe
