Lord, open up my understanding to understand your ways. I
know that I will never fully understand all of your ways. I accept the
understanding of those things that you will allow me to understand. I know my
understanding of things is like the smallest fish in the ocean among numerous
fishes that populate an ocean. But just that little bit of understanding from
you God can steer my soul in the right direction, so that I can acknowledge
what is truth. So that I can acknowledge you, and not only acknowledge you but my
understanding of you would ignite my desire to want to really build the most
innermost relationship with you. I will be able to mentally process you, your
salvation, your precious love, and your saving grace. I will be able to
understand your plans for my life and how I can fulfill my purpose with your
help.
Proverbs 4:5-7
5 Get wisdom, get understanding:
forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.
6 Forsake her not, and she shall
preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee.
7 Wisdom is the principal thing;
therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
